315 524-4446 EXT. 396 at Ginna MONTH Zanuar 1989 The unit operated at 1004 reactor power level for the majority of the report period with a few exceptions detailed below:

On 1/12/89 the reactor power level was reduced to 974 to perform Periodic Tests involving the Standby Auxiliary Feedwater System.

On 1/13/89 the reactor power level was reduced to 98% to perform Periodic Tests involving the Auxiliary Feedwater System.

On 1/21/89 the reactor power level was reduced to 494 to repair tube leaks in three condenser water boxes.

A turbine trip occurred, during a turbine stop valve test, because of a short in the test solenoid.

The reactor power level was restored to 1004 after completion of the repairs.
