This is confirm my phone call on Hay 15 ~ 1981 to report Reportable Occurr'ence 81-009 at Cinna Stat ion. A program of planned Eddy Current examinations wa<<con ducted oa both Loop "A" and "B" Steam Cenerators at Cinna Station from Hay 7th to 12th, l981- during the present refueling and maintenance outage. This examination i-cons is ted of a mu I t frequency Eddy Current, examina t ion to de tee t and measure potent ial tube defects. The inlets of both steam generators received a 100'X inspection and the out.lets received approximately a 25X inspection.

The resul ts of these examinations did not reveal any report. able indicatfons in the out1ets of either steam generator and the inlet of the "A" steam generator.

The "B" steam generator inlet has 45 tubes with indications from the multi-fre-quency data of Mhi ch 44 are crevice indicnt ions in the tube sheet crevice area: and l other indication above the tube sheet out on the periphery. Of these 44 tubes 6 tubes vere-above our 4OZ degradation criteria.

Based upon these results steam generator tube sleeving <<ha) l commence by<

a1eeving- the 44 crevi.ce indication tubes and plugging the I tube in the"periphery; After tube sleeving. operations are complete-. tube pulling oil.1.. be initiated. to.

remove 3 tubci- from the "B" generator hot leg.
