April 12, 1982 Docket No. 50-244 LS05-82 028 Mr. John E. Maier Vice President Electric and Steam Production Rochester Gas Iml Electric Corporation 89 East Avenue Rochester, New York 14649

Dear Mr. Maier:

SUBJECT:

INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT MEETING AT NRC (BETHESDA)

The NRC had scheduled a meeting with your staff to discuss your proposals on the identified differences from current licensing criteria for the Ginna plant for April 2, 1982.

Your staff had proposed to discuss the methodology for.the structural upgrade of the Ginna plant for various loads and load combinations and felt that the April 2, 1982 meeting would be 'inappropriate until after the structural upgrade meeting since it affected various topics.

As 'discussed with G. ltrobel of your staff we have scheduled to meet on April 8, 1982 with your staff and consultants to discuss the structural upgrade of the Ginna plant.

The April 2, 1982 meeting has been rescheduled for April 13 and 14, 1982 at which time we will also present the Probabilistic Risk Analysis results.

The topics to be discussed on April 13 and 14, 1982 are unchanged from our March 9, 1982 letter.

Sincerely, cc:
