ALLEGATION INVOLVING QUALITY ASSURANCE AT GINNA
In my notes of October 13,
1983 and November
18,
1983 to Mr. Mark Williams,
I reported
on the status of the
NRC response
to the subject allegations.
In summary, after receiving the allegations
and meeting with the alleger,
Region
I conducted
a special
inspection
and concluded there
was insufficient
information supporting the allegations
to warrant an investigation.
A copy of the Inspection
Report 50-244/83-23
(Enclosure I) includes the
results of the special
inspection.
The inspection did identify one Security
Level
IV and two Security Level
V violations.
Kandling of the violations
will follow normal
NRC procedures.
The inspection report closes
out the
activities related to the subject allegations.
