By application notarized April 12, 1983 (transmitted by an April 15, 1983 letter from LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby 8 HacRae),

your company proposed Technical Specification (TS) changes requested by an NRC letter dated September 20, 1982.

The TS changes relate to plant staff wor king hours and reporting re-quirements for safety and relief valve failures and challenges for the R.E.

Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.

This application was determined to be exempt from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22 since it was requested by the NRC and considered to be administrative in nature.

Although the TS changes were requested by the NRC, it is our understanding that they were not re-quested to simplify or clarify the license or specifications for the con-venience of the NRC.

Therefore, fees are required for your application of April 12, 1983.

Based on information provided by the Division of Licensing (DL) staff as the

-result of a preliminary fee revier, it has been determined that a Class II fe'e of $1,200 is appropriate for the April 12 application since the review is expected to only involve administrative issues.

Consequently, it is re-quested that your company remit the sum of $1,200 to this office. If the DL staff's final review of your application reveals that this fee is not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
