Containment Vessel Tendon Evaluation Program, R.

E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant (GAI Report 2512).

The staff has reviewed the above referenced documents related to the 1983 tendon surveillance program at the RGE's Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.

Franklin Research Center (FRC) was contracted to review and evaluate the RGE submittals.

Based on FRC's review and evaluation, the staff concludes that the adequacy and integrity of the containment structure is assured.

The staff also concurs that the FRC recommendations be incorporated into future surveillance programs at Ginna.
