E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant The staff and its contractor, the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL),
have completed the technical review of the RG8E resp'onse to items 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 of Generic Letter 83-28.
The review is based on RGImE submittals through February 28, 1985.
'The enclosed Safety Evaluation (SE) is based on the result of this technical review.
The SE indicates that item 4.2.1 of the Generic Letter 'remains open; RG&E has not provided a reviewable description of the preventative maintenance program.
In addition you must confirm that 200 Reactor Trip Breaker cycles are not exceeded during a 12-month interval.
This information should be provided as soon as practicable.
This request for information was approved by the Office of Management and Budget under clearance number 3150-0011.
