revised report summarizing the analyses performed to demonstrate that the proposed modification will have no adverse effect on the Reactor Coolant
- System, or any other safety-related
- system, or component.
Enclosure 2 to Attachment B provides the responses to a series of questions from the NRC, transmitted. via a letter of April 13, 1988.
Where applicable, the specific sections of the revised report which contain the responses are noted.
We trust that these responses will clarify the technical content of submittal, such that review and approval of our proposed Amendment to replace certain steam generator snubbers with rigid bumpers can be facilitated.
Approval is required 'xpeditiously, in order to allow this modification to be constructed during the 1989 refueling outage.

- 1987, RG&E proposed to amend the Operating License by removing the listing of snubbers from the Technical Specifications, thereby eliminating Table 3.13-1.
Although the present Amendment Application would modify Table 3.13-1 by reducing the number of safety-related.
- snubbers, RG&E is not enclosing a proposed revision to Table 3.13-1. It is anticipatel that approval of the July 24, 1987 $00
