e The Reactor Power Level averaged 100% in the Report Period, with the following load reductions of short duration:

On 9/15, a load reduction to ~48% Reactor Power Level to repair a Condenser Tube Leak.

On 9/22, a load reduction 'to ~ 98% Reactor Power Level to perform a periodic test on the Auxiliary Feedwater System.

On 9/26, a load reduction to I 95% Reactor Power Level to perform a periodic surveillance test on air operated valves.

GINNA STATION MAINTENANCE REPORT FOR SEPTEMBER 1978 During September, normal inspection and minor maintenance was performed.

Major safety related maintenance included:

1.

Sampling material from the containment recirculation fan splices.

2.

Replacement of all four containment recirculation fan power splices inside containment with splices made with LOCA approved Raychem brand heat shrink tubing.

3.

Replacement of splices inside containment for Valve 852A and B with splices made with LOCA approved Raychem brand heat shrink tubing.
