4 NRC Annual Assessment Summary The Licensee, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company, operated the station safely and in a manner that preserved the public health and safety and protected the environment Davis-Besse met all cornerstone objectives but was in the Regulatory Response Column of the NRCs ROP Action Matrix for all four quarters of 2016 Through the third quarter of 2016 with one Greater-Than-Green finding identified (Security Cornerstone) from the last quarter of 2015 and White Performance Indicator for Unplanned Scrams with Complications (Initiating Events Cornerstone) in the first, third and fourth quarters of 2016.
