On March 20.
1998, the
NRC completed
an inspection at your St. Lucie Nuclear
Plant.
The enclosed
report presents
the results of that inspection.
During the week of March 16-20,
1998,
an inspection
team observed selected
portions of your emergency organization's
response
in key facilities during
the emergency
preparedness
plume exposure exercise
conducted
on March 18,
1998.
The emergency
response
observed during the simulated accident
was
considered satisfactory.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy, of
this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
