DATE COMPLETED BY Z.J. Breen TELEPHONE 407 468-4248 REPORT MONTH DECEMBER 1992 On December 1, 1992, Unit 1 was downpowered for cleaning of the 1A1 Waterbox. On December 2, 1992, the Unit 1 was at 100% power and the average daily power of Unit 1 was 1004 until December 20, 1992.

From December 20, 1992, until December 22, 1992, the Unit was downpowered for waterbox cleaning. The Unit was returned to 1004 power and remained there for the rest of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO. 50-389 DATE COMPLETED BY J.J. Breen TELEPHONE 407 468-4248 REPORT MONTH DECEMBER 1992 At the beginning of the month, Unit 2 was offline to repair pressurizer relief valve V1201. From December 2, 1992, until December 8, 1992, the Unit was offline to repair four Reactor Coolant Gas Vent System valves. On December 8, 1992, the Unit remained offline to repair the turbine turning gear. On December 9, 1992, the Unit was put online, but shortly afterwards was downpowered due to high back pressure-vacuum problems with the turbine. As recommended by Westinghouse, the Unit was downpowered and then taken offline for a turbine inspection. On December 13, 1992, the Unit was at 1004 power. The average daily power of Unit 2 was at 1004 for the rest of the month.

In accordance vith the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there vere no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
