SUMMARY

OF MEETING HELD WITH FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT (FP8IL)

TO DISCUSS FINDINGS DURING LICENSED OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATIONS A meeting was held at the NRC Region II office on December 22,

1989, to discuss the results of the recent licensed operator requalification examination.

Results of this examination are documented in NRC Examination Report No.

50-335/OL-89-02 dated January 24,, 1990.

The licensee described corrective actions taken and planned to correct deficiencies revealed by the examination.

A copy of slides used by the licensee is provided as Enclo'sure 1

and an attendance list is provided as Enclosure 2.

The licensee confirmed commitments made during the meeting in a letter from D. A. Sager to the NRC dated December 22, 1989.

Implementation of these commitments will be monitored during future inspections and licensed operator requalification examinations.
