Method of Shutting Down Reactor Ucensee Event Report¹ System Code4 Component Codes Cause &Corrective Actionto Prevent Recurrence 335/88-04 HH RELAY Unit ¹1 was.operating at 100% power when the reactor tripped on high-pressurizer pressure.
The trip was caused by a spurious actuation of the current balance relay associated with the 18 condensate pump.
The relay was replaced.
Return to power operation then commenced.
UNIT SHUTDOWNS Ak POWER REDUCTIONS 03 880701 04 880711 3.7 503.8 HH VALVEX RC FUELXX Unit ¹1 reached approximately 15K power when it was manually shutdown to repair a leaking safety relief valve in the feedwater filter system.
Following repairs the unit was returned to full power operation.
Unit ¹1 was shutdown for refueling and scheduled maintenance.
