LOW TEMPERATURE OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION (TAC NO. 64407)
The staff has completed its review of your confirmatory analyses associated with the Low Temperature Overpressure Protection (LTOP) system technical specifications (TS) for the St. Lucie Plant, Unit No. 2.
The analysis was submitted by letter dated January 9, 1987, in response to the staff's safety evaluation of October 16, 1986, supporting Amendment No. 16.
The staff finds that the results of confirmatory analyses are acceptable and that the changes made for the LTOP system and TS meet the applicable regulatory guidance and requirements.
The safety evaluation is enclosed.
