St. Lucie Unit I

Docket No. 50-335 Second Ten-Year Inservice Ins ection Interval By letter L-85-43l dated November l3, l985, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) requested NRC approval to extend the first ten-year inspection interval for St. Lucie Unit I to February I I, l 988. By letter dated November 20, I 985 (Denton to Williams), the NRC Staff approved the extension, and as a result, the second ten-year inservice inspection interval for St. Lucie Unit I will begin on February I I, I 988 and end on February I I, I 998.

Pursuant to IO CFR 50.55a(g)(4)(ii), applicable Code Edition and Addenda for the second ten-year inspection interval is the l983 Edition through the Summer l983 Addenda of Section XI, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

FPL is developing the second ten-year inservice inspection summary program for St. Lucie Unit I and plans to submit this summary program to the staff, along with necessary technical specification change proposals, in August I 987.
