Re:
St. Lucie Units I and 2 Docket Nos. 50-335 and 50-389 Generic Letter 86-06 By letter L-86-325, dated August 6, l986, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) endorsed the Combustion Engineering Owners Group (CEOG) reactor coolant pump trip criterion methodology (i.e., trip-two/leave-two staggered reactor coolant pump trip).
ln that same letter, FPL informed the NRC of the date by which the plant-specific information in response to Generic Letter 86-06 (GL 86-06), items I, 3 and 4 would be submitted to the staff.
FPL also committed to provide a schedule for the submittal of information concerning instrumentation uncertainties (i.e. GL 86-06, item 2).
CEOG has developed a schedule for submitting the instrumentation uncertainties information, and FPL has improved on the earlier schedule submitted to the staff for providing the GL 86-06 plant-specific information.
As a result, FPL and the CEOG plan to submit to the staff all information required by GL 86-06 by June 30, l 987. This schedule has been found acceptable by the NRC Project Manager.
