ln response to your request dated December 5,
l986, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) is providing the schedule to complete the engineering necessary for the modifications to structural steel supports in fire area M and in rooms that do not have sprinkler protection in fire areas A, C, H, and O.
The engineering is scheduled to be completed by November I 987.
Upon completion of the detailed engineering design for the modifications, FPL will be able to provide a construction schedule for implementing the modification.
FPL will inform the Project Manager of any changes in the schedule.
The above fire areas are patrolled by a roving fire watch.
This is considered adequate compensatory measures until the modifications have been completed.
