LUCIE PLANT, UNIT NO.
1 Your letter L-86-235, dated May 28,
- 1986, requested relief from the Action Statement for the subject Technical Specification until a meeting is held in
- Bethesda, Maryland on May 29, 1986.
It is our understanding that you are preparing an emergency technical specification change request and you need temporary relief in order to continue operation of Unit No. 1.
Based upon our review of the information provided in your letter and its attached safety
- analysis, we concur that Unit No.
1 may continue operation in the interim.
This letter confirms the decision given to your staff by telephone on the evening of May 28, 1986 to grant interim relief.
In accordance with our discussions with your staff at the May 29, 1986 meeting, the relief ends at 7:00 p.m.
