St. Lucie Plant, Unit No.
1 We have completed our review of your submittals dealing with masonry wall design at St. Lucie Plant, Unit No. 1, IE Bulletin 80-11.
Our review was based on letters dated February 11 and December 7, 1981, October 4, 1982 and June 14, 1984.
Based on our review and that of our consultant, Franklin Research
- Center,
>Ie have concluded that Items 2(b) and 3 of IE Bulletin 80-11 have been fully implemented at St. Lucie Plant, Unit No.
1 and that there, is a reasonable assurance that the safety-related masonry walls at St. Lucie 1
'ill withstand the specified design load conditions without impairment of (a) wall integrity or (b) the performance of the required safety functions.
This review was conducted under our TAC No. 42900.
Our Safety Evaluation with the attached consultant's Technical 'Evaluation Report is enclosed.
