St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket. No. 50-335 Post-TMI Requirements Additional Accident-Monito in Information ln your letter which we received on January 18,

1983, you indicated that the NRC staff was conducting a post implementation review of NUREG-0737 Items ZI.F.1.4., IZ.F.1.5, and II.F.1.6.

Enclosure 1 to that letter contains the staff's request for additional information.

Zn regard to Item 1 (Exceptions Being Taken to NUREG-0737 Requirements),

i" is our intent to fully respond to your request.

Our review of Items 2, 3, and 4 concerning accuracy of the monitoring systems indicates tnat the information requested exceeds the level of "clarification" originally required in NUREG-0737.

Commercially avail-able instruments have adequate time response and accuracy to provide the required information, and an accuracy and time response analysis is not necessary.

Zt-is our intent to provide you with the overall accuracy of each monitoring loop.

In regard to Items (4d) and (4e) concerning the placement of the hydrogen monitoring system, we plan to fully respond to your request.

Your letter requested that we respond to you within 30 days of receipt of the letter or provide you with a date for our submittal.

It is our intent. to provide the above discussed information on or before May 19, 1983.
