St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-.389 En ineerin Verification Pro ram During discussions with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in April l982, Florida Pa~er and Light Company (FPL) was requested to provide assurance that St. Lucie Unit 2 has been constructed in accordance w ith the design and to verify the Quality of.the project.
Follow ing those discussions, FPL developed an independent Eng ineer ing Ver ificat ion Program.
Enclosed please find a description of FPL's Engineering Verification Program, the final report of the Engineering Verification Program Task Force, and additional information describing how FPL has been committed to assuring a quality product in the design and construction of St. Lucie Unit 2.
