We have reviewed your. letter of February 26, 1982,.(L<<82-67) regarding review schedules to support the use of Exxon fuel at St, Lucie Unit 1 during Cycle 6.
We expect to complete our.reviews on or within.a month of the dates proposed based on the submittal dates listed.. We. also note 1)
XN-NF-82-09 should address the issue of guide tube wear; 2) XN-NF-81-22.
is.not applicable to PWRs; and, 3)
Exxon. is expected to submit an additional statistical uncertainty report, for.St. Lucie 1 application, for which our review schedule will be determined upon receipt of.the.report.
In.addition we. note, based on our experience, that our review and.approval of a reload submittal will most liij.,ely be necessary to support St. Lucie Unit 1 operation with Exxon fuel during CycIle 6.
