tzrII~1II,~~><m noi We are currently re-evaluating the heavily cabled and previously closed SER fire areas to the new 10 CFR 50 Appendix R Section III.
G.2 criteria.
This exhaustive review and analysis is currently scheduled for completion and transmittal to the NRC by May 31, 1982.
Based on recent meetings and discussions with NRC staff, this final package will also include a re-review of the ventilation system to the III.G.2 criteria and other guidance provided in Appendix R.
We request therefore that action on our exemption request dated March 19, 1981 (L-81-122) and the letter dated July 10, 1981 (L-81-286) providing more information on the ventilation system fire dampers be deferred until receipt of this final evaluation.
