Dear Dr. Uhrig:

By letter dated July 16, 1979, we indicated that the cycling test for check valves was the only unresolved issue in our review of your inservice testing program described in your submittals of September 16, 1977, and September 8,

1978.

Your response to this concern, submitted on December 7, 1979, provided a revised program with changes in addition to those related to check valve testing.

In addition, on Itiay 1, 1980, you proposed another revised pump and valve test program stating it is applicable for the per iod April 21, 1980 to April 21, 1990.

You are requested to specify the differences between your currently proposed inservice testing program and the program described in your submittal of September 16, 1977, as supplemented on September

8. 1978.

You are also requested to specify the changes"made to address the concern regarding the cycling test for check valves.

You should note that the'applicability of this program is for' 120 month period comencing at the date of commercial op+ation, which by our records is December 21, 1976. for St. Lucie Unit No. 1,'ot the submittal date.

You 'are also requested to specify the changes made to address the concern regarding the cycling test for check valves.

You should note that the applicability of this program is for a 120 month period comencing at the date of commercial operation, which by our records is December 21, 1976, for St. Lucie Unit No. 1, not the submittal date.
