St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-389 CEDM Motor Housin NDE On November 24, 1980, Florida Power 8 Light Company (FPL) notified the Region II Office of Inspection and Enforcement of a potential 10 CFR 50.55 (e) item regarding a missed ASME Section III final non-destructive examination (NDE) step in the manufacture of the control element drive mechanism (CEDM) motor housings used at St. Lucie Unit 2.
On December 23, 1980 (L-80-416),
FPL informed you that the incident was considered to be not reportable with justification for that decision provided in the response.
That response was a final response, and the word "draft" should not have been included in the text of the letter.
