John Ahearne STATION BLACKO In ALAB-603, the Appeal Board has concluded that station blackout should be a desion basis event for St. Lucie Unit 2.
The Board goes on to say that such a result might also be appropriate for most reactors and recoIImends the Commission take expeditious action to ensure plants and operators are equipped to accommodate such an event.
Please review the current status of Task Action Plan A-44 in light of ALAB-603 and provide the Comnission with your comIents by September 15.
