Unit was removed from service when feedwater flow to steam generator No.

3A could not bp transferred from the bypass feedwater control valve to the main feedwater control valve after the unit was returned to service.

Inadequate flow through feedwater control valve No.

3A was due to broken valve stem.

Correc-tive actions included installing new valve stem, plug, and cage in feed-water control valve No. 3A.

New valve internals will be installed in feedwater control valve Nos.

3B and 3C at the next outage of suf-ficient duration to accomplish this work.
