However, such procedures shall not preclude armed personnel from entering the control room in response to security related emergencies, ile., there shall be no relaxation of any portionof the commitments contained in your physical security plan.

This confirms the results of a March 24, 1980, telephone conversation between Mr. Caldwell of your staff and Mr. David Matthews of the Physical Security Licensing Branch, Division of Safeguards, NRC, regarding the referenced request for action, a copy of which was forwarded to the NRC.
