Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

Re:

RII:JPO Docket No. 50-335 I. E.Bulletin 79-02, Revision 2 Florida Power 6 Light Campany has reviewed Revision 2 to I. E.Bulletin 79-02, and the following information is provided in response to the revision.

The revision introduces new concerns regarding the use of mansion anchors in concrete block walls and the use of means other than base plates to transfer piping support loads into expansion anchors.

St. Lucie Unit 1 did not have any expansion anchor installations in concrete block walls or any applications utilizing structural steel shapes rather than base plates.

The revision also contains sane additional discussion regarding the verifica-tion of anchor bolt preload.

For the ~ of expansion anchors that were used for St. Lucie Unit 1, there is no "preload",which contributes to the ultimate pullout capacity of the anchor.
