Gentlemen:
- This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. J. F. *smith
and M. P. Huber of this office on January 29 through February 8, 1990, of
activities at the Dresden Station, Units 2 and 3 -authorized by NRC Operating
Licenses No. DPR-19 and No; DPR-25 and to the disc~ssion of our findings with
Mr. E. D. Eenigenburg and *others of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspect ion.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, .the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records,*observations, and
interviews.with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
ln accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Conunission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in th~ NRC
Pub 1 ic Document Room.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have ~oncerning thts inspection.
