-This refers to the special safety inspection conducted by S. G. Du Pont
of this offke on December 5, 1988, through January 6, 1989, of activities
associated with the NRC Diagnostic Evaluation of August 1987, at Dr~sden
. Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3 authorized by Operating Licenses
No. DPR-19 and No. DPR-25 and to the discussion of our findings with
Mr. E. Eenigenburg and others at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies-areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a *selective
examination of procedures and representative record~. observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were ide~tified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, of the Commission's Regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
We will gladly discus~ any questions you may have concerning this inspection.
