- JAN 0 9 1989 We have received your letter dated December 5, 1988, which discusses your actions in response to our generic concerns related to the lack of verification of remote position indication for valves in the ASME Section XI Inservice Testing Program at your nuclear stations.
We are pleased to note that you will be performing one time operability tests of at least some of the indictors located outside the control room and that you will be considering whether or not additional testing is needed.
Our generic concerns regarding this issue have been referred to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for consideration.
You will be informed if additional information or action is required.
