This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by S. G. Du Pont,
P. D. Kaufman, D. R. Calhoun, R. M. Lerch, and D. E. Jones of this office
and J. D. Smith of NRR Special Inspection Branch, on September 10 thru
November 22, 1988, of activities at Dresden *Nuclear Power Station,_Units .
2 and 3 authorized by NRC Operating Licenses No. DPR-19 and No. DPR-25 and
to the discussion of our findings ~ith Mr. E. Eenigenburg and others at the
conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations with NRC requirements were identified ~uring the cours~ of this.
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, of the Commission's Regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
