Although a summary of the inspection plans for the September, 1G88 refueling outage was proYided, neither details (on a weld-by-weld basis) of that inspection nor long-range plans was provided. Please supply that information for the next several refueling outages.

In addition, in order to provide a basis for evaluation of that information, please supply *imilar details for previous inspections.

Item 3. Plans for Mitigating Actions Generic Letter 88-01 requests on p. 3:

'Your current plans regarding pipe replacement and/or other measures taken or to be taken to aitigate IGSCC and provide assurance of continued long-term piping integrity and reliability. 1 Please suppl7 the detailed plans for aitigating actions for Dresden 2 (note: the Commonwealth Edison *ubmittal provides only generalimed pla.ne). In addition, in order to provide a basis for an eYaluation, please also *uppl7 the following (on a weld-by-weld basis).
