Summary of Meeting with Commonwealth Edison on May 2, 1988

The findings and conclusions of the SALP Board are documented in Report

No. 50-237/88001; 50-249/88001 and were discussed with the licensee on

May 2, 1988, at the Dresden Station in Morris, Illinois. The licensee's

regulatory performance was presented and found acceptable in each

functional area.

We plan to closely monitor trends in your station

improvement plan, both at the station and at meetings with you.

While the meeting was primarily a discussion between the licensee and

NRC, it was open to members of the public as observers.

Commonwealth Edison's response to the Dresden SALP 7 Board Report

dated June 1, 1988, had no comments addressing the specific content of

the report.

Because there are no comments, this Appendix contains no

changes to the SALP Report.
