In letters dated June 3, 1985, June 13, 1985, Seotember 30, 1985 and Januar.v 24, 1986, Commonwealth Edison Compan.v (CECo) submitter! documents relating to the planninq for the Recirculation Pioe Replacement at Dresden Unit 3 includinq the ALARA planninq.

The September 30 letter responded to questions raised at a meeting held. on July 23, 1985 (Meetinq Summary issued Auqust 5, 1985) relating to the proqram.

Although no formal staff resnonse has heen made to CECo basen on the activities described above, CECo was informed verbally on a number of occasions that the staff found the Recirculation Pipe Replacement Proqram satisfactory. A Reqion III Inspection Report (85-25) dated November 6, 1985 also evaluated the program and found no violations or deviations.
