Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
On Februi~y 22, 1982, a telephobe conference call was held between the NRC Stiff, the Franklin Research Center (FRC) ~nd the Cqmmonwealth Edison Company to discuss the FRC draft Technical Evaluation Reports (TE Rs) concerning "Phase I 11 - con tro 1 of heavy loads at our Dresden and Quad Cities Stations.
Reference ( b) requested that the** Commonweal th Edison Company provide, within thirty (30) days, our understanding of the resolution of those items agreed upon during the conference call, and a firm schedular commitment.for our resolution of the remaining open items.
As a result of our revi~w of the draft TERs, and to document our conference call discussions, Reference (a) provided our r esp on s e t o e a ch c once r n a n d r e commend at ion t hat w as i den t i fi e d b y the FRC in their TERs.
Therefore, we believe our Reference (a) response should satisfy your Reference (b) request for information.
In our judg-ment, no items remain open and our justification for closure of such items has been presented in Reference (a).
