November 24, 1981 This confirins our telephoned authorization given November 23, 1981 for a change.f n Technical Specifications for Dresden Station Unit 3 as requested by your telecopy dated November 23, 1981. Facility Operating License No. DPR-25 is hereby amended this date, November 23, 1981, by making the following technical specification change:

Add the following note to Paragraph 4.5.C.2:

"Note:

From November 23, 1981 through November 29, 1981, with the HPCI inoperable, CECo is not required to demonstrate the operability of the automatic pressure relief sub-system daily. During this period, two feedwater pumps shall be operating at power levels above 300 MWe and one

  • feedwater pump operating as nonnally required and one additional feedwater pump shall be operable at power levels less than 300 MWe.

11 Copies of the license amendment, our evaluation and Federal Register Notice for this technical specification change will be sent to you when completed.
