Your letter was reviewed and the information provided.below was dis-
cussed with Mr. Rausch and others of your staff, by Messrs. Daniel~on
and Yin of this office on November 9, 1981.

We concurwith your decision to make the newly installed drain line
a permanent part o:f the HPCI system.
It is our understanding the
complete stress analysis and supporting calculations wil:J.. be avail-
able for our review by January 1, 1982.

We understand that the results of your review and re-evaluation and
theoriginal high energy line break design methods, acceptance
criteria and analytical documentation will be available for our
review.by January 1, 1982.
