Subsequently, by letter dated July 9, 1981 we issue~ Amendment No. 63 to Provisional Operating License OPR-19 which authorized operation of Dresden.

Unit 2 wit.h one recirculation loop out of service. ~\\The letter also contained the staff's safety evaluation (SE) supporting the Ainendment.

Since the *issuance of the amendment allows operation with less than all loops in service, the orf ginal evaluation of Topic IV-1.A*:; is no longer valid. There-fore, the SE supporting Amendment No. 63 has superceded our previous evaluation and is considered our final evaluation of Topic IV-1.A.

Ii This evaluation will be a basic input to the *integr~~ed safety assessment for your facility unless you identify changes needeqt~p reflect the asbuilt condf t ions at your fac11 i ty. This assessment may b~: *revised in the future ff your* facility design is changed or if NRC criterf:~ rdlatfng to this subject are modified before the integrated assessment is completed.
