Dear Mr. Keppler:
As discussed in References (b) through (e), Commonwealth
Edison has committed to revise the Quality Assurance Topical Report,
CE-1-A, to clearly identify the specific regulatory guides and
standards. which each site is committed to comply with.
This action
was taken in response to the subject Inspection Report transmitted
by Reference (a).
This is to inform you that we have submitted this proposed
revision in the E. D. Swartz letter to W. P. Haas dated August 7,
1981.
The letter with proposed *changes is attached for your
information.

As we have agreed, we will obtain reasonable assurance from
NRR of the acceptability of this change within 90 days after the
August 7, 1981, submittal date.
Should the proposed revision *
require implementation of new standards, or if changes are required
to gain NRR acceptance, we will provide your office with an
implementation schedule within 90 days after this submittal.
