Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Company Dotket No. 50-237 Docket No. 50-249 As a result of the inspection conducted on July 21-31, 1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (Oetober 7, 1980), the following violation was identified:
Technical Specification 6,. 2. B requires that rad.iation control procedures be
.maintained, made available to all personnel, and adhered to.
The section entitled "Laundry Facility" in the document "Dresden Nuclear Power Station Radl.ation Control Standards" requires that before placing laundered pro-tective clothing in storage bins for reuse the tlothing must not exceed 3000 cpm.
Contrary to.this requirement, laundered protective clothing in the*clean laundry storage bins in the Unit 1 Track-Way were found reading 8000-10000 cpm.
This is a Severity Level V vialation (Supplement IV).
The inspection showed that action had been takei to correct the identified item of noncompliance and to prevent recurrence.
Consequently, no reply.
to this item of noncompliance is required-and we* have no further questions regarding this matter.
