Dear Mr. Abel:
- June l, 1981 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 61 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-19 for Dresden Station Unit No. 2. This amendment is in response to your application dated May 24, 1981 as supplemented by your letter dated May 27, 1981.
The amendment authorizes operation of Dresden Unit No. 2 for four we*eks with one recirculation loop out of service. The aniendment adds 8 license conditions requiring a power le~el reduction and reduced safety system settings to provide an equivalent level of safety for operation with one recirculation loop out of service.
During our.review we modified your proposed license conditions by addirig other conditions considered~ppropriate by the staff. These
. *changes have been discussed with your staff and they have agreed to their imposition.
