I REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON DRESDEN UNIT 2 FOR SEP TOPIC.VI-7.A.3 The information provided in your letter of March 26, 1979 does not adequately address GDC 21 requlrements for the capabllity to test ECCS.
Provide the following additional in~ormation with regard to the mlnimum flow bypass control for each ECCS pump:
(1) Describe how the flow sensor is calibrated and tested.
(2) Describe how proper o~~ration o~ the relay log*i c is tested.
(3) Describe hbw proper functioning of the bypass valve is verified during the periodic test (Please note that these valvei will cycle in less than one minute under the test conditions).
