VY Water Management Update

  • Water Management Update

- Intrusion Water Disposition Plan

  • Intrusion water retention, shipment and removal plan continues to be implemented.
  • In-leakage prevention projects seeking to further reduce the intrusion of groundwater continue.

- EnergySolutions is providing shipment and disposal services

  • Groundwater is being shipped to EnergySolutions licensed disposal site in Tennessee.
  • Shipping approximately three shipments per month at the present intrusion rate to minimize on-site storage.
  • A total of 517,000 gallons have been shipped to date.

Nuclear Decommissioning Trust Update

  • The ENVY Nuclear Decommissioning Trust (NDT) balance was

$568.9 Million on March 31, 2017

  • The NDT balance was $570 Million on April 30, 2017

- The increase was due to positive market performance, partially offset by reimbursements from the NDT. Fund expenses occur periodically throughout the year.

- Summary of NDT Performance in 2017:

  • $11.9M in Qualified Withdrawals
  • $21.7M in Market Gains
  • $1.4M in Fund Expenses
  • The Site Restoration Trust balance was $23.6 Million on April 30, 2017.

- Entergy has funded $20M to date; $3.6M fund growth.

- Final $5M annual contribution to the Site Restoration Trust scheduled for December 2017.
