This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. H. Neisler of this office on
March 31 and April 1, 1993.
The inspection included a review of authorized
activities for your Dresden Station, Units 2 and 3.
At the conclusion of the
inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed report.
The purpose of the inspection was to
determine whether existing Dresden operating procedures were adequate to cope
with a station blackout pending future installation of *alternate AC power
generators.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures,
representative records, observation of activities and interviews with
personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
