DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 2, FRACTURE TOUGHNESS EVALUATION OF THE SHELL MATERIAL ON THE SECONDARY SIDE OF THE LOW PRESSURE COOLANT INJECTION HEAT EXCHANGERS (TAC NO. M77614)

In a letter dated February 4, 1991, the Commonwealth Edison Company provided a fracture toughness evaluation of the low pressure coolant injection heat exchangers (LPCI-HX) in Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2.

Enclosed is our Safety Evaluation in which the staff has concluded that the A-212, Grade B material on the secondary side of the LPCI-HX has adequate fracture toughness.

Our review of the fracture toughness of Dresden, Unit 2, materials as part of SEP Topic III-1 is completed.
