discussed with those members of your staff identified in* the enclosed report.
- * Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these*areas,.the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and represent~tive records, interviews w~th personnel, and observation of**
activities in progress.
During thi~ inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation
of NRC requirements, as sp~cified in the enclosed Notice of Violation *
(Notite).

Also during this inspection, certain of your activit~es appeared t6 be in
violation of NRC requirements. However, as described in the enclosed
inspection report, the violations are not being cited because the criteria
specified in Section VII.B.2 of the "General Statement of Policy and
Procedures for*NRC Enforcement Actions," (Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR Part 2,
Appendix C) were satisfied. .
. You are.required to.respond to this letter and should follow-the instructions
- sp~cified in the encldsed Notice when preparing yout response. * In your
response, you ~hould dotum~nt the specific actions taken and any additional
actions you plan to prevent recurrence. After reviewing*your response to this
Notice, jncl~ding your proposed corrective actions and. the results of future
inspections, the NRC wi 11 determine whether further NRC enforce_ment action is
. necessary to ensure compliance with NRC regulatory requirements.
