ACCEPTANCE FOR REVIEW REGARDING TRAVELER TSTF-567, ADD CONTAINMENT SUMP TS TO ADDRESS GSI-191 ISSUES
Dear Members of the Technical Specifications Task Force:
By letter dated March 30, 2017 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML17089A628), you submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval Traveler TSTF-567, Add Containment Sump TS to Address GSI-191 Issues.
Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations requires that Travelers are subject to fees based on the full cost of the review. You requested a fee exemption by letter dated March 30, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17089A629). The fee exemption request is still under review. When a decision is reached you will be notified. If the fee exemption request is not granted, the NRC staff estimates that the review will require approximately 430 staff hours including project management time.
The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submission and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more comprehensive review. The review of Traveler TSTF-567 will generally follow the schedule below.
